Why does Unite Revolution Slider not use Joomla's Extension Updates functionality? We have to always update it manually. Every other extension I have bought uses Joomla's Extension Updates functionality.
This is literally the only extension that does not have an auto update feature. If you do not plan to implement it using Joomla's Extension Updates functionality you should find another way as out of date extensions pose a security risk. Revolution Slider for Wordpress recently had an LFI vulnerability in it allowing attackers to read the configuration.php and break into the database :/

this feature is not implemented yet, because it requires a update server and additional development and changes in the extension core system.
We will see if we will implement it in the future but for now there are no such plans
