I just purchased Unite Revolution Responsive Slider for Joomla and it's version 4.7. Is there a reason that the JED listing is not updated to show version 4.7?
Also, is it possible in a future version to add the code needed for Unite Revolution Responsive Slider to use the Joomla updater?
I hope your developers do decide to include the Joomla updater notification in the component. This is a very important security issue for Joomla. Many people are using services for updating their sites and these services only notify the user of outdated extensions that use the Joomla Updater functionality. If your developers would like an example of how the code is implemented they could look at an example from sh404SEF plugin code found in Joomla installations that use it at this path 'plugins/installer/sh404sef'.

I guess we will need to update JED information. Isn't it even better to have newer version? :-)
I will add your suggestion about the Joomla updater to our developers so they can decide if they will implement it or not
