In premium version the default transition for any new slider and all individual slides is Random Flat and Premium. A bit much for most of my clients, we just go with Fade. How can I set default, globally so that the default is just FADE and not Random Flat and Premium?

I am afraid that you can't set the transition globally. All you could do is to reset the transition on all slides from a perticular slider
