HI. I understand you bug, I can fix bugs only that I see. And it\'s weird that before the images was https, (I even sent you screenshots). Anyway, now I see some problem. Could you please give me ftp access, I\'ll take a look the reason of this.
OK, I will be very grateful if you show me how to do.
But I think it will be useful also if you add a little checkbox in revoslider backend settings where a user can choose if someone want full url or no (with the warning that not full url can sometimes cause problem for some cases). It will be useful I think.
Hello,
I had bought Revo Slider and installed it in my site. All is working correctly in http:// version, but not in https://.
I have 5 slides and I configured images as background giving relative path as for example /images/slider/Slider1.jpg
In "http" version is replaced as http://www.stonebit.it/images/slider/Slider1.jpg but the proble is that it is replaced
with the same url also in "HTTPS" version, like http://www.stonebit.it/images/slider/Slider1.jpg
If I could set //www.stonebit.it/images/slider/Slider1.jpg would be great or eventually Revo Slider should correctly
catch if the user is using HTTP or HTTPS.
Is there a solution?
Thanks
HI. the slider should catch the https when it\'s on the website. Now I see that the website of yours is http.
Please send me a link of https one and I look.
Link is this
https://www.stonebit.it/
HI. I see that the slider images are https. where is the issue?
http://screencast.com/t/Is4ktOXC
Using firefox 41.0.1
it says page contains crypted and unencrypted elements.
If I look ad \"View Page Info -> Media\" I see the following,
and Sliders*.jpg images are on http.

Hello,
we understand that you see Slider*.jpg images int https (which are 5 and are images configured in the revo slider
as you can see in attacch Revo_slider_configuration.png and this is a fact).
It is also a fact that many user around the world is getting that images thru http and not thru https
(for example see attach Test_on_Pingdom_tools.png, this is a test on independent and ranked tool)
and the fact you see correct this is not demonstration that RevoSlider is working correct (is it working correct only for you?)
I understand that you have many other things to check, but IMHO you cannot approach this problem saying
I see correct hence it is not a problem. Since I know, as a programmer, that when a customer is experimenting
a problem on his PC and not on mine, it is anyway a problem of incorrect programming in my program.
This is what I understand after long 20 years of hard programming.
So please try to explain me because we have at least 4 devices around the world
(3 different PCs on 3 different subnets, 1 with Explorer, 1 with Chrome, 1 with Firefox) and the pingdom
tool that are receiving slider images thru HTTP and on your Browser is working on HTTPS.
Are We cursed and you gifted?
Thanks

Additional images
(just to be clear, please remember that I \'m skilled enough to understand if I\'m asking for support for a problem related to
RevoSlider or not)
Here in attach evidence that that images are in fact configured inside RevoSlider
Thanks
HI. I understand you bug, I can fix bugs only that I see. And it\'s weird that before the images was https, (I even sent you screenshots). Anyway, now I see some problem. Could you please give me ftp access, I\'ll take a look the reason of this.
yes, sure.
Damn,
You are right.... there is a conservative caching in Joomla,
but it\'s strange that it will harm behaviour of Revo Slider only.
I disabled caching and RevoSlide now is working right.
Sorry for this.
OK, I will be very grateful if you show me how to do.
But I think it will be useful also if you add a little checkbox in revoslider backend settings where a user can choose if someone want full url or no (with the warning that not full url can sometimes cause problem for some cases). It will be useful I think.
You are the best, really.
I installed it, now I try to understand if it is working correctly.
