Can you please help to get my video forced full width to show on the website.
Soo width should be 100 % and the height adjust to screen size, actually the same effect as I have created with a image on this website: http://eetlokaaldenoot.nl/

I would like ultimately to achieve the same as on the demo website here with the same grid overlay ( the little black dots ): http://www.unitecms.net/joomla-extensions/unite-revolution-slider-responsive/video-slider

    Kind regards,

HI, I don\'t see any video on your slider. You can acheeve it using html5 video only. Not with youtube.

sorry for the late response btw.

    Hello Max,

when you go to http://www.toptrouwring.nl/ you see a video from Vimeo in the center under the menu.
That is the video I would like to have 100% width like your demo video page :-)

    Thanx!

    Edwin

    Hello Max,

Thank you again for your fast response!
We have now added a .MP4 file with the video in the slider: http://www.toptrouwring.nl/media/video/ring.mp4 in our Joomla 4.3.4 website

Still we cannot find a way of getting the video full width like in your video demo page... ( http://www.unitecms.net/joomla-extensions/unite-revolution-slider-responsive/video-slider )

    What are we doing wrong?

    Kind regards,
    Edwin

P.S. How do you get the black dots overlay in your video demo page ( the one with the forest here: http://www.unitecms.net/joomla-extensions/unite-revolution-slider-responsive/video-slider ))

Hi. There is a trick :)

in video height and width just put 100% 100%

and, as I see it now, the slider on our page is fullscreen, not full width.

anyway, you can show me your page, I\'ll try to compare your slider and the one on our page (I just took it from themepunch examples) and see what\' the difference.

    Hi,

there are 2 places in the Joomla Rev. slider Component where I can enter height:
    1) In the slider, \"edit slider\", tab \"Add video layout\", Video Size, I can choose Full screen or Width / Height.
When set Width & Height to 100% the video ends up very small in the left upper corner.

    2) Under Settings, \"Main Slider Settings\", \"Layers Grid Size\" on the left, I can choose Width / Height.
When set Width & Height to 100% it ends up in the middle very small.

If you want I can give you access to the website, it\'s a Live website :-)

Please let me know, I have the feeling we are very close to the solution somehow :-)

    Regards,

    Edwin

Oh, you wrote me only now :( I thought that you\'ll write me before.

The thing is that I\'m going to my anual vacation for 9 days today night, so I just don\'t have time now for this kind of support.

I have time only for quick tickets.

I\'ll star the ticket, and will try to help you when I come back (30/jul).

Maybe if I\'ll have time on some evening in the vacation I\'ll try to help you too, but please don\'t count on that.

if you want btw, I can refund you, because I can\'t give you proper support at this moment.

very sorry for the situation. starred the ticket.

Hi. I just came back from the vacation. is this issue is still relevant?

  • Edwin replied

    Hi Max,

nice to have you back :-)
If you can you are still most welcome to login with the provided credentials and try to set the video to full width.
The special page is still there for you to try.

We still did not get the video full width as you can see on the homepage....

Are you up to it? ;-)

    Kind regards,
    Edwin

Oh, I got it, just forgot about this option. Please try the: \"force cover\" option. It will do the job with any widths. The video will just cover the player no metter what width you\'ll give.

and, please don\'t forget ogv and webm video types.
