HI, I have checked a while and the arrows are ok, not chineese signs. Anyway, if you use normal arrows, without font awsome, the first preview, it won't happends, because they will be images and not font awsome.

Hi, all the arrows you are choosing are font awsome. Please choose the regular arrows, line in his example:
