When I take an existing text style and try and modify it I am asked to overwrite or save as. I choose save as but what I am left with is just default text type styles with none of the style changes I made. It even loses the style that was in place before I modified it. Going back into the style editor everything is there but no matter what I do they style will not take. Is there some server side issue here or can someone tell me why this style editor does not work?
Actually I have tried several different ways to do this and if I so much as try to modify any of the preset styles ALL the style for the text fails and I am left with normal text. Even if it shows correctly inside the component, on the fronted it is not working. One feature I really need is to center text but adding text-align: center; fails every time. Bottom line is the CSS editor should not even be part of this component because it simply does not work and only makes things worse!
I found another post with a similar issue and the solution was to use Firefox. I was using Chrome and switched to Firefox and was able to get it to work (to a point). While it did work the changes were not redily available to see in the editor. In order to update what I saw in the editor I have to reload the component. Seems to be an issue with the script, but there is a lot of hijinks going on with this editor to say the least. Hopefully you guys are working on this because hands down it is the coolest slider tool ever, although currently I cring every time I have to work in it and that is sad...;(
No worries, I could not wait any longer and had to go after this a different way. I ended up getting a different extension and that is what you are seeing on the frontend of that site now.
Thanks and I will be watching to see when this new version gets updated...
