After installing rev slider 2 and trying to add the module to my site, a lot of the backend admin functions don't display correctly and there is no Save button to save the module in my chosen location. The console is giving me the error: Uncaught ReferenceError: writeDynaList is not defined. After Googling this error, I've checked my database for absurd table entries and I've given the entire com_uniterevolution2 folder & subfolders 777 permission under Admin. What else should I try?
Ok, the solution to this problem was indeed insufficient permissions in the components\\com_uniterevolution2 and modules\\mod_unite_revolution2 folders--not just those same folders under the administrator folder. After setting the folders (and subfolders) from 755 to 775, everything worked perfectly. Hats off to the support team!
