Hi. you put the slider inside "nav" element. Please change it to "div" element, that the slider will be not inside "nav". You must have some rules in the "nav" element that prevent links. I tried to change the element name to "div"n in firebug and the links began to work.
HI. this customer had some css in his template that make some problems with "nav" tag. if the slider was under the "nav" tag, then the slider was not working properly. But I don't sure that it's the situation in your case. Please open saparate ticket and provide link to the slider so I Could look.
