First, thanks for reading. I'm trying to use the post list widget to display the 'OSTs' (custom post) posts with the same category as the current post. But with Post list, we can only display the posts of a specified category, not from the current post category. It's really a shame cause we can exclude the posts with the same category as the current post. Can you help? Thanks.

The problem is that the post is from the default post type "post" and the posts i want to display as related, from a custom post type, they each only have one category and they have it in common.
