Is it possible to keep the images in the slider the original height and only adjust the width by cropping the sides?

I want that the slider only shows the middle of an image when im watching on a lower viewport.

Ye but maybe not an option but is it possible?

I use the image slider on full width of my page, and on lower viewports it looks terrible.
