So let me understand this.. my website is down because Joomlaux the developer I purchased the template from did not update it and I have to purchase from you in addition to purchasing the template from the developer??
basically, yes. When a template developer wants to include Unite slider in their own templates, they need to purchase a valid license. If they want to support their clients, they have to update their templates with new versions
If they decide not to do that anymore, template users needs to have their own subscription in order to download and install the latest versions
Well, how about I just never use your site again not even for purchases?
Why would I waste time opening another ticket for the same topic. It's fine with forums to tag onto any other topic similar to ones own. It's not considered hijacking.. have a good day...
Well, this is not good news. I just purchased a template (inspiretheme) because it was Joomla 4 ready, and then discovered that its slider was Unite Revolution, so it's not really Joomla 4 ready.
I have other sites with the Revolution slider so this is another gotcha in our upgrade paths.
Are you sure this slider will not ever be Joomla 4 ready, and thus it's the end of the road, we need to find something else?
I think it is important that if they do an update for Joomla 4.x since a lot of sites use that component and it would be a shame to have to uninstall it.
The installed component for Joomla 3.x appears in the list of updates and always sends to the wrong address and this makes us as a customer not very favorable impression.
It would be good if they made the arrangements so that it can be updated in Joomla 3.x (so that the error does not continue to appear in Joomla 3.x) and it can also be updated for Joomla 4.x, there are many clients that DO use it.
I attach the erroneous code where the update directs us in Joomla 3.x
Hello, Will you continue to develop Unite Slider, making it ready for Joomla 4?
Thanks.
Jeff
Hi,
no, I am afraid that our developers decided not to update UniteCMS extensions in general for Joomla 4

Igor

On a side note, your question is totally unrelated to the first question in this topic
Please be so kind next time and open your own support ticket and don't just hijack someone else's ticket

Igor

How about you actually read the first message in this topic?
It is not related to your question in any way at all

Yes, I am sure this slider won't be updated to work with Joomla 4
