How can I force the slider to display... sometimes it does not on front page, but will with a refresh. need for it to load every time. is this a plugin issue, a lazy loading issue? General settings: Shuffle Mode OFF, Lazy Load OFF, Enable Static Layers OFF, Next Slide on Focus ON.
Yes, sometimes it shows up right away. But... sometimes the rest of the page loads, slider does not. If you then hit refresh the slideshow loads. It's very inconsistent. Probably about 30 percent of the time it does not load without a refresh.
How can i force this to load before other elements?

I am guessign that you have some caching mechanism enabled on the site
Try to edit slider module and configure it not to use caching
