Do you think a box shadow for the items is possible? And I also saw that it's not possible to use transparency for the item background as this leads to design problems with the "arrow". See attachment.
Due to disabling the pointer the timeline is not as easy to read/understand. Do you think it's possible to change the dot for a triangle pointing in the direction of the item. It would be perfect, if there would be a bit of space between the line and the pointer.
Can you please add settings for the colour of the line between the dots?

Its a problem with this one but if u want i can make an option to turn off the arrow.
This will both solve the transparency and give u opportunity to add box shadow
