    When I try to update the slider the following error message occurs:  

    Error

    Failed to extract file: index.php_option_com_unitecp_task_download_name_unite-revolution-slider

    Is this common and is there a workaround?

    Hi,

    to be honest, I have never seen this message before

    Can you tell me which version of Revolution slider do you have on your site and which version of installation packaged are you trying to install?

    Hi Igor,

    We have Unite Slider 5.0.8 installed and we're trying to update to 5.0.16.  It appears .8 is not compatible with PHP 7.2 or higher.

    Hi,

    Unite slider for sure works correctly with PHP 7.2 or higher

    For example, I am using it on my test site with PHP 7.4

    You are probably missing some PHP modules

    This was just a guess.  Whenever I select PHP 7.1 in cPanel the slider starts working again.

    Any ideas?

    Hi,

    as I said already. You are probably missing some PHP modules in version 7.2

    Compare which modules you have for version 7.1 and 7.2 and you will for sure see the difference

    Hi,

    this is not PHP info that you should look

    You have to check PHP modules on a server level in your server control panel
