I am in the early stages of developing a new website for our school (I'm the Headmaster) and think Revolution Slider will be perfect. However, when testing on an iPhone and Android mobile, you cannot scroll if you touch on the slider. (Above and below the slider works fine.) I have tried playing with all the options and settings, including in 'mobile touch' and 'mobile visibility' but nothing seems to solve the problem. This is a major issue as, if you are viewing the slider in landscape, it looks great on a mobile device but takes up most of the screen, meaning an end user would be virtually unable to scroll down the page. I hope you can help as I don't won't to have to search for an alternative which does not have this issue as everything else about the slider is fantastic! I have made this 'private' so that I can supply my log in details:
Unfortunately, this does not do anything on my site, Regardless of whether the 'drag block vertical' is on or off, the problem remains the same. I have also experimented with all the other options and settings within 'mobile touch' and 'mobile visibility' but nothing seems to solve the problem.
I would really appreciate you looking into this in more depth for me. (Domain name and admin login details included in initial message.)
Hi, right now I have only ipad to test and I see that the drag on slider area make all the page drag too. on what devices you see the bug? On ios it should be ok.
Thanks for looking into this further. I went back to my iPhone and, you are right, with the 'drag block vertical' to 'off' the problem appears to have been solved for ios.
However, when I carry out mobile tests, I use my HTC One M8 phone which runs Android 4.4.2 and the browser Chrome: 36.0.1985.135. On this device with this operating system and browser, the problem persists.
I carried out the test on a friend's phone (Samsung), the page did drag vertically. (Android 4.3) But we noticed that he was using a different browser. So, we installed Chrome onto his phone and the problem was recreated, i.e. unable to drag vertically.
So, I installed Firefox on my HTC and this solved the problem - it works fine on Firefox.
Therefore, in summary, it does not appear to drag vertically on the android operating system when the Chrome browser is being used.
I can see now that this is a very specific problem and not as serious as I first thought. However, it still concerns me as the HTC phone came with Chrome pre-installed as the default browser and I wonder how many other people are using Chrome on an android device.
By the way, the link you sent behaves in exactly the same way as my page. To recreate the problem, use an android device with the Chrome browser installed on your demo: http://loopim.net/ronen/index.php/only-images
If this could be solved, I would feel much more confident using the component.
I would very much appreciate you looking into this in more detail.
Hi, I see the issue, but unfortunatelly the front end of the slider was written by themepunch team. I only tooik from them permissiohn to sell it for joomla and made the admin adoptions from the wordpress version.
So, I can't handle with this issue by myself, I can only wait for an update from themepunch and check that they fixed the issue in it.
If you want, I can always refund you for any reason, but besides waiting for an update I can't do much.

I do not want a refund as the extension is excellent and think this problem will only affect a small number of people.
Are you able to raise the matter with the themepunch team so that they can be made aware of it?
I will just keep an eye open for updates and hopefully these issue will be eventually resolved.
Best wishes,
Ian
Hi, usually they are not listening to me, and usually they know all the bugs, because they have 10x times more support then I do.
Please follow the next updates, maybe the issue will be fixed.
Okay, I'll keep an eye open for updates.
Thanks for looking into this for me.
