I bought a theme with the Unite slider installed and i have a problem with the autorun function. Some of the times it works as expected and starts playing the video but sometimes it does not start automatically. Even in simple page refreshes it happens.
My version is Unite CMS ver. 5.0.16. I found in the threads of the forum that muting the video would fix the issue and I think now in both Firefox and Chrome it is resolved. I just needed to fully clean both site and browser caches.
I am having another issue though which is that on tablets and mobile phones the slider reacts badly with the video. I have the slide with the video layer first. When the home page loads (the video appears only on the greek and english version homepages) the video does not load and only the letters appear in a black background. the second time around (after all three slides have been presented and the slider restarts) and afterwords the video loads but does not play at all. My website is https://www.whiteshepherd.gr. Tested on Samsung Galaxy S3 tablet and S9 android phone and iPhones.
autoplay on mobile devices is disabled by default. That is not feature of our extension but the way HTML video player is working in the HTML standard. This is done in order to save mobile device bandwidth
I am afraid that there is nothing we can do in order to fix this

Thank you for the reply. I added the video poster so the background is not black and the video starts only on computers automatically.
