When saving images why are you saving the full path of the image in database with the domain name? In Joomla this is not the way i am using the numerious extensions and they all save images excluding the domain /images/ etc....
This is a problem when transferring the domain from staging to production you need to re-link the images in Revolution Slider.

hi the reason is that this is a copy of the wordpress php and we keep updating from them .
you can change all the img urls in bulck in the slider settings under import export .
