i seem to remember you showed how to build an alternative menu using your great plugin. can i use it to create a language switcher which i can put anywhere on the site (header, footer etc.)
yes, the links lead to subdirectories http://fakeloveswimwear.com/es, http://fakeloveswimwear.com/he etc. i need a menu which will function like language switchers. with flags/text changing according to users choice. same as any other language switcher on websites (see attachment).

when u say independent u mean it will be like just custom links ?

i can make a flag dropdown but i dont have a way of making the page you are on select the corrrect flag
its ok just needed some guidance and to see if i missed an existing widget that can help me on unlimited elements
