First, thank you for developing this excellent component.
I need to remove the delay between slides, so I can get some layers uninterrupted between slides, and some other layers changing.
What I need is to have a mask (for the photo, so it is the top layer, and the image is displayed through the transparent areas of the mask), that is the same for all slides, but the image, text and links change on every slide, and I have the bullets navigation. My problem is that there is a gap between the slides that show a blank.
How can I solve this?
Now a feature request. Please, add a "don't display on mobile (below X resolution) but also a "don't display on desktop" (above a certain resolution). In this way we can have a slideshow with different slides for mobile (vertically oriented) and desktop (horizontally oriented).
I tried another way, and wth some clever tricks, I managed to achieve what I need.
I just copied the content of the mask (without the variable part: photo and text) into a JPEG as a BG image.
Then I set the transition between slides to none.
It worked like a charm. The background is constant, and doesn't have any gap between slides, and as the BG is a copy of the mask, the user doesn't notice when it is BG and when the mask appear.
