Hi there, I seem to be having an issue with my video slider showing in certain articles.

If the article link is a menu item root the slider displays just fine in the module, however if the article has a parent the slide will show, but the video is just black.

I have tried clearing cache and checking links etc.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I'm afraid I dont at the moment as it is in a dev computer.

The only differences I can see are in the video location URL 

http://mysite/images/slider/fabrication.mp4 which works ok

http://mysite/index.php/images/slider/fabrication.mp4 which fails, im assuming because of the index.php in the URL?

The links are done through Joomla so I'm not sure how to change them

Thank you for that, sadly the video is still black :( I'm at a loss as the background image is ok.

Update, for some reason in child links ../mysite/images/slider/fabrication.mp4 isn't good enough and a full link has to be provided in the video layer.

If anyone else comes across this issue this is how I solved.
