Hi, It looks like the Unite Revolution Slider is not compatible with Joomla 3.3.0. I just updates to that version and I can't make new slides anymore and most of the buttons in de administrator of URS are not working anymore. I use the latest version: 4.3.6.

I can confirm this as well. As soon I updated to Joomla 3.3.0 many of the slider buttons stopped working in the backend. The Front End slides seem to work fine.

Thanks for that! Why does this version not appear in the plugin updates?

we don't have that feature. Plugin updates is good for free items, for payed items it can't be done, because it's public.

There still seems to be a problem in Joomla 3.3 when using Joomla's {loadposition} or Modules Anywhere's {module} short codes on a page. Error shows:

Revolution Slider Error: You have some jquery.js library include that comes after the revolution files js include.
This includes make eliminates the revolution slider libraries, and make it not work.

    To fix it you can:
    1. In the Slider Settings -> Troubleshooting set option: Put JS Includes To Body option to true.
    2. Find the double jquery.js include and remove it.

First, I cannot find a Troubleshooting section in the Slider Settings. In any case, the technical problem is that the Plugins above are loading the default Joomla jQuery link references (from /media/jui/js) in the head section, and more critically, after the URS jQuery link reference.

I've searched for an explanation of Joomla's JS script link load order in hopes of finding a way to force a different load order, but to no avail. In case plugin load order is determined by installation date, I tried to uninstall and reinstall the URS (v 4.3.8 b3), but again no success.

My guess is that Joomla 3.3 now requires developers to use their jQuery loader, but I don't want to start hacking the plugin to find out. My site homepage is based on loading sliders in the feature articles, so it is completely broken until this issue is resolved. It would be much appreciated if you could look into this and get back to us on it.

    Thanks!

I am having the same problem. But It worked from another pc early in the day when I tested. Now it doesn't work! Has this problem been fixed? I am using Joomla 3.3.4.

I found the solution! Under slider setting/Advanced setting, select Include item JS in the BODY instead of HEAD. It now works for me in Joomla 3.3.4/
