It seems like the slider is not using the relativ path to the image source folder. I created a slider on a local host, all sliders where visible. I opend the page from an external computer and the slider was not visible. All I got was the grey background. I logged into the backend and reselected all images of the slider and after that everything worked again.
Linking of a regular image:
Linking of Revolution Slider:
It comes with the http://.... not with /.
The Problem is, when I develop a site local and move it then to the webspace all images are gone. This would not happen with the relativ path it will be the same no matter where the site is located.
But this is not very useful. When I create Website on a NAS device (i.e. QNAP) an want to give a preview to my customer he won´t see the slider. Because I´m using internal access to the NAS like 192.168.1.50 and the customer has a webadress xxx.domain.xx or my fixed ip, which is different ot my internal network. This will cause this issue, that the customer will only see the background color. No images will be shown. That´s why a relativ link to all images is needed to solve this issue. As long as you develop a site online, you wont have this problem, because the webadress will be the same for both partys.
I will use a workaround by configering the slider over my public IP adress until you have a update. After the setup is done, it doesn´t matter to me, if I will have only the background color in my preview. To upload the finished page I will use the export/import function to get it to work. Just let me know when the issue is solved.
Hi when you move to a diffrent url you have in the slider settings a feature called import / export
it allows you to change the paths of all images in one click

Hi, I see the problem. However meanwhile this is the way I use the images. Only full path, no relative. In the future I'll try to make the update.
Meanwhile if the slider don't fit your needs, I can refund you full price.
