Layer Image - localhost references

Hi, Problem is that I'm trying to add an image layer on top of my background image but my remote live hosting site can't resolve localhost references for the layer images. Details are... When, as per the ticket I raised on 4Feb14 "Setup Slide Image from Image URL", I'm now having problems when loading the slider to my live hosting server with my localhost (on my dev machine using XAMPP) turned off. i.e. The remote hosting server cannot resolve localhost image references and the slider doesn't load at all. When i turn back-on my dev machines localhost XAMPP server, then it does, of course, work. This isn't a problem for my background images as they are using the "External URL" reference to the image source. I assume that this can be fixed by either providing a additional feature to apply the "External URL" reference to layer images as well as background images. ...or have a really missed some basic config in Joomla 2.5 and/or my web-hosting? I've had to turn off this feature on my live site but you can see what I'm trying to do on my development server available here http://81.149.17.79:8080/joomla25/. I've also attached a screenshot roadworks1.jpg of what I'm trying to do by adding layer images of "Road Closed" and "Diversion". Mozilla Firebug shows the reference to localhost. Let me know if further details are required. FWIW, I'm using Joomla 2.5.19 Please advise. Rob

Hi rob in the slider settings you have a section called import export.

there is a tool there that allows u to change all the image refrences from localhost 2 your live site.

can you have a look ? if you still have trouble you can send me backend access.
