Using elegant style accordion

Hi, how can I have the first entry in the elegant accordion closed rather than open when it initialises?

Just to add, I have nested the elegant accordion in the WPBakery standard accordion.

Also, I want to create a separate accordion for the mobile site, just so I can format the text slightly differently to suit the smaller screen. In such instances, having the item toggle off using the minus icon can often be more usable for the mobile user than scrolling down to the next item to open. After all, they see a minus sign & try to use it to close the section they are on in order to create the space they need to display the other entries. Very natural behaviour and one that makes sense in a mobile environment. Quite unlike the usability on desktop or even tablet sites.  So, how can I get the items to toggle to close by tapping the minus icon (no need to remove any other behaviour, just add this one).

Once again, the mobile accordion is nested in the WPBakery standard accordion.

Also, in the interests of possible future nesting, can I find a shortcode or ID for each of your accordions to include in other elements? Just in the interest of maximum flexibility. I don't know if it's possible, but my success in nesting your accordion in the WPBakery one has made me feel a little creative.

Thank you for any help you are able to provide!

our accordions dont work with shortcodes

but you can put a shortcode in the accordion content itself

Thank you for such a prompt and helpful reply,  Amit. It worked nicely, thank you.

In fact, you were so prompt you may have missed a second question I included when I edited my first!

Which is, how do I add a close item functionality to the minus icon? So that the open item closes if the user clicks on the minus icon.

It's a simple enough question, but the reasons for wanting it are for added usability on mobile sites. I don't mind if the same functionality is added to my desktop and Tablet sites, BTW

Thanks again for such excellent support. I am most impressed.
