Hi, I would like to ad a semi-transparent layer to the unite slider to make a text layer more visable. I tried to change the CSS (although I am new to CSS) as indicated on an earlier question. https://unitecms.ticksy.com/ticket/1211443/
It does not work on my Joomla website for some reason. The text layer stays completely transparent. Can you tell me if and yes what I do wrong? Thnx
your Joomla template is probably overriding CSS that you are using with the text layer so you should use Chrome developer tools for example to find which CSS definitions are doing this. Or you can change the CSS class names in the Unite slider so the template won't override them

Please provide URL to your site and super admin login details so we can take a look and see what could be the issue
