A template from AS Templates my customer purchased, uses the Unite Revolution Slider 2 Version 4.7. I cannot access it through Components. Getting the same error mentioned in other posts. It is stated that this component is now called Unite Slider under unitecms.com. The link for upgrading refers me to http://www.unitecms.net/joomla-extensions/unite-revolution-slider-responsive which is an offer to buy the new version.
Are you stating that if users have the Revolution Slider, there is no chance for upgrade in order to even use it?

Hi,
you have two options how to solve this:
1. contact your template provider to send you the latest version of the Slider
2. buy new subscription and update your Unite slider to the latest version which can be download from UniteCMS website
