Hi, On this 'testing' website, I have tried to show a Unite slider (version 5.0.8) on the Home page. But as the joomla position is also used by a background image, the slider does not show and remains hidden. Also using a higher (even very high...) z-index, does not solve my problem.
The website is Joomla 3.8.3. and everything is is working fine. Thank you for looking into this,
I was already afraid you would say this, but I agree... As I am the 'constructor' of this contraption, I will be rewriting the postions in the Joomla template in order to make slider visibility possible.

I am sorry but this is really your Joomla template issue and you will have to contact your Joomla template developer to fix this issue for you
