I'm considering to buy the gallery joomla extension. I've seen the demo and i like it. What i haven't been able to see, but i've read about it in the features, is the use of category tabs. Is it the right tool to display around 100 photos in a gallery and be able to filter to see all, or, say, the portraits only, the landscape only, ...?
category tabs are just what the name suggests, a way to show different categories of the images in one gallery. You can't use them to filter out some of the images and have one tab which would show them all, unless you actually create a separate category which would show them all
