Full width row by default

Hi, I notice that if I create a new row and add any addon to it, the row will behave like it was set to be full width (row and content), even if the row is set to default, not "strech row" or even "strech row and content".

I have tried to add a full width row to have a full width background image and then I added an inner row and I set it to default, so the content will not be full width, but it wont work. Both row and content gets full width.

I have tried to add a 100px to left and right margins of the inner row and it looks good on large screens, but it will break mobile layout. wont work.

I see that if I import a layout from the ones you created the rows works great. You can have a full width background rows with conteiner width content. But if I edit the row to see how it is set, it is set as "Default" - both rows - outer and inner rows.

So I dont get it how to make it work.

Would you know how to do it?

    thanks

Hi, thanks. But I am not familiar with the container you mentioned.... As you can see the screenshot below, I have a Row and inside it I have a Inner Row.

***How to set the width of the container as you mentioned?

In that exemple above I have the row set to "Default":

and the Iner Row set to have laft and right margins of 100px so the content would not touch the edge of the page.

Hello Max, this is what I mean:

1- here I created a page and imported the Bakery Template. Take a look how the Solid Food Menu behaves nicely. It respects the page's container.

2- here I created a new page and added the Solid Food Menu addon alone. But it does not respect the page's conteiner and its aways full width, see: https://www.screencast.com/t/7iVgCmEy3oyg
this is how it is in my page: https://www.screencast.com/t/K2Thvx9YoYk3

and even if I create a row and add a inner row to add the Solid Food Menu addon to be exacly as the imported layout does, it shows the same full width result, not respecting the page's container:

    https://www.screencast.com/t/oYDDWosx

3- another example: I imported the Bakery layout and added another row below the template's original with the Solid Food Menu Addon. Both rows are the same, have the same specifications. But the one I added manually is full width and the top one (that came with the template), is not.

So what I need to understand is how to create a new blank page and add an addon like the Solid Food Menu and make it respect the page's container, as the imported layouts does.

    thanks

Hello Max, thanks. That worked great.

I would never gess it becose its stated in your page that all layouts are made only with the addons, no custom code.

    thanks
