The first photo shows the preview and the second the way it appears on the web. The same happens if I use Slider or Default theme. The site is live so I am using Tile theme until I solve this problem.
A second question. Using tile theme is it possible to see the lifhtbox directly on loading the page rather than showing the tiles dirst?
I have done a fresh install of the latest version and did not alter the various settings but this did not solve the problem. All the images are being compressed. The lightbox for the tiles version works well at http://www.exeterfestivalchorus.org.uk/index.php/gallery and this uses the same images and renders them properly.

HI,
did you already remove that URL because I am receiving Error 404 when I try to access it?

Igor
Hi Igor
Apologies. I had to do some reordering. It is now visible at ...

Hi,
try to add this to your custom CSS file

Igor
Hi Igor
Great - thank you very much. That's solved it. The slides were picking up another less specific custom css rule ...
.article-content img { float: left; border-radius: 0px; max-width: 50%!important;}
Another problem is that slideshow is not working in the Chrome browser but I'll post separately.
Hi,
glad that this issue has been fixed. I replied to your other ticket

Igor
