If you update manually you have to remove the Web Update link or it constantly informs you Unite Slider 5.0 is available even though you have installed Unite Slider 5.0b3.
There needs to be a check performed so the update system knows the latest version gas already been installed manually.
I cleared the Extension Update Cache and CMS Cache but the problem persisted.
As previously stated installing 5.0 via Joomla's Extension Update system is broken.

I had to manually install the new 5.0b3 version and delete the Unite update site.

The error message appears when trying to update from 4.8.2 or from 5.0.b3

HI, there are version check only. for updating to a new version you must login to unitecms.net and download new version from there.
