I have a few sliders configured. However on one page, I only have one slide configured in the module, however 2 slides appear in the code. I cannot figure out where this is coming from.
Hi, Igor. Thanks for taking a look. Unfortunately, I don't have the ability to download the latest version. The copy I have came with the template from Inspire Theme.
I contacted the template provider, and they update the Slider to the latest version, however the issue still exist. Here is their response:
Hi Jay,
I was able to reproduce the "two slides" issue on my end as well.
I also noticed the discussion you opened with the Revolution Slider support where Igor told you that updating the extension to the latest version will fix the issue, but unfortunately it doesn't.
This is an issue with the Revolution Slider itself, it has nothing to do with the template.
It seems that it is not possible to have just one slide. If you have only one slide, there's a duplicate one created automatically.
Here, have a look at this video that I recorded for you (watch it in Fullscreen and FullHD for better quality). It shows everything in details. It shows how I download and install the latest version of the Revolution Slider and install it. It shows that as soon as I have just one slide, a duplicate one is created. And it also shows that the issue is reproducible with the default Joomla 3 template (Protostar) which confirms that this bug has nothing to do with the template - it is a bug in the Revolution Slider extension itself.
The best thing you can do (and you should do) is to send the above video to the Revolution Slider support team so they can provide a solution.
Regarding the other issue (the slider on the Home page disappears) - the first time I opened your website I saw the issue, the slider was missing. And as soon as I cleared the cache the slider appeared.
It is a very, very strange issue and I see it for a first time. Nobody has ever reported something similar.
In my opinion it is either a conflict caused by some of the 3rd party extensions you have installed or it is another bug in the Revolution Slider itself. It might be some kind of a cache issue (either a cache extension or a cache that comes from the server/hosting provider) but I really have no clear idea what is causing it.
What I can say for sure is that the template is not responsible for this issue.
P.S. I installed the latest version (4.8.1) of the Revolution Slider on your website.
Hi, Max. I'm not sure what you mean "you can choose this option in the code". If it is the settings under "Loop and Progress", the "Stop Slider" is set to OFF and the "Loop Single Slide" is set to OFF.

Hi,
you have two options how to solve this:
1. contact your template provider to send you the latest version of the Slider
2. buy new subscription and update your Unite slider to the latest version which can be download from UniteCMS website
Regards,
Igor
Thanks, Igor.
I contacted the template provider. Hopefully they can help.
Even though the issue doesn't have an apparent visual/performance effect on the FE, my concern is that Google will flag that as duplicate content.
Again, thanks for your time.

Hi,
