We have the gallery working and it is lovely. Really great. I have two needs that seem to not be available, if not, they would likely be a very useful extension that would make this even more valuable to camera clubs like ours who show a lot of images.
1. Is there a way to create a Title from a filename?
2. Is there an automated way to directly add images to a gallery if the images are added to an image directory? We have a image loader that manages image submission and can load to the directory but then have to go back and manually select the new images. With sometimes over 200 images being loaded ad hoc from the front end, finding the ones just added is a nightmare.

2. this is also not possible to achieve in the current version of the gallery
