Google Maps conflict Safari Chrome

I am experiencing an odd thing. On Chrome and Safari, If I have your slider working on the same page I have a google map module, the site doesn't load your slider or the site in general. If I disable either your slider, or the google map module, the site works. I have tried two different google maps now and they all have the same issue with your slider. There must be some kind of code conflict here. Can you help and solve this. I have the newest Joomla and your slider.

On Firefox everything works fine. It is only on Safari and Chrome

I put the site in the field for this ticket.

    Here it is again

This issue happened in this last new update where you changed the name of the product and the url to the sliders changed. I have other sites running the older versions. I checked my version and I had 4.6. I uploaded 4.8 and the problem exists. I checked another site I have and it has version revolution_slider4.7.3 b1. and it has a google map and doesn't seem to have an issue. I changed the version in Tayo to 4.7.3 b1 and the issue with Safari has been fixed, but Chrome still won't run the site. I am going to install 4.8 again so you can fix the issue.

All I am getting on Chrome and Safari is a white screen.

    Hi,

your website is giving me blank page when I try to access it from the backend. Can you please fix that issue first so I can try to solve the issue with the slider?

    Regards,
    Igor

Yes that is what I said. This is due to your slider. What browser are you using? The admin panel should be fine to view on any browser.

  • Gary replied

I checked on three different browsers and the admin panel is working for me. FireFox Safari and Chrome

    Hi,

when I set error reporting in the Joomla global configuration to the maximum level, I can't see any error output. That means that you disabled error reporting in the php.ini

Please turn on error reporting in php.ini so I can debug the site

    Regards,
    Igor

Haven't turned off any error reporting. I just turned it on now and on this page it is showing an error so the reporting works.

Today I was looking at the site and noticed a '<' opening bracket on the bottom of the site. I turned on a component of the template  which is the icon bottom right of the site when you scroll down. It is a to the top link, and the site now runs on Chrome and Firefox, but not Safari. There are no errors for Safari, just a white page. If I turn off the slider and just have the google map, everything works on all browsers. The conflict I believe is a javascript conflict. If I turn off the google map and your slider is on, the site runs on all browsers. As I stated before I have tried two different google map components and they both do the same thing with your slider.

I have found the cause of the issue and it isn't your slider. Thanks for looking into this.
